The How & Why Behind Your Mind

Even when we've identified an individual or group that can process their fears and anxieties into actions, there remains distinct hopelessness when faced with the scale of the problem. The issue of climate change is so complex, so significant, and it touches so many different facets of human life that opposing feelings even within oneself is a shared experience. 

When you think of Men and Mental Health, those two don't fully add up. Thankfully, today there are more campaigns and efforts to bring awareness and funds to an underserved demographic with a stigma towards mental health. Suicide is the leading cause of death in the US, with men being more likely to attempt and successfully commit suicide.

As we celebrate the month of October as Mental Health Awareness month, we need to remember to celebrate our mental health every day of every month. Helping ourselves allows us to be able to efficiently help others and the ones we love.
